Veterinary education and supporting newer members of the profession has continuously been part of VSS' core values. This year Dr Terry King was privileged to receive an honorary Fellowship qualification. Terry as many of you know was elevating the levels of veterinary practice in Australia long before specialist practice was commonplace, with letters of support for Terry came from veterinarians around the world. This is a much deserved and humbly received honour. A big congratulations to Dr Evie Knight who passed her Specialist exams in Small Animal Dermatology and achieved fellowship qualifications. A fantastic effort Evie! Congratulations also to our residents, we had 5 residents across our practices sitting membership exams in 2017. We are very happy to announce that all our residents passed. We are extra proud of Else Jacobson who won the internal medicine award for achieving the highest marks of all candidates sitting in medicine.
