No images? Click here June 1, 2022 Dear member, I cannot believe that it is nearly one month since we launched the Health Innovators’ Meetup in May. Time sure flies when you are having fun! And if you can advance health innovations and support startups on the way, so much the better. We had a great time at the 2022 YEG Startup Community Awards as we celebrated some wins of our startups. It is almost time for our HIH Meetup#2 on June 9 when we will celebrate innovation awards and wins in health innovation. Come join us in person to hear some recent winners discuss their startup ideas and their experiences, network with fellow innovators and enjoy great views of downtown Edmonton. We will have food and non-alcoholic beverages for our attendees. Grab your tickets today before they are sold out! I am also delighted to share that we have welcomed a new team member to HIH. Nife will be helping us to coordinate events and will play an integral role at the Meetup. As Cole, this week’s Meet Our Community member mentions “there are not many opportunities to land a job in Health Innovation outside of the start-up areas”. That is why our Talent Hub provides a portal for students and would-be employees to network and connect with us and our community. Organic growth for the HIH continues with a new member joining our community. As a startup in a service provider capacity, Navigate Your Health provides key services to patient populations. Finally, the HIH will be in Calgary attending Inventures this week. If you are attending, we would love to meet with you. Thank you for everything you do for our community. Please share the digest with your network to move health innovation forward.
