From the Principal

I have just returned from a wonderful two week break with family in the United Kingdom. While in London, the opportunity arose to take a short walk on the heath with Old Girl Margaret Rodgers (1952). I was also fortunate to visit the sold-out Diana: Her Fashion Story Exhibition at Kensington Palace along with Collegiate’s Head of English, Mr Will Simon, who also happened to be holidaying in the Northern hemisphere. My daughter Emma and I managed a quick side trip to glorious Paris where we spent time in galleries viewing stunning Impressionist art works. After experiencing the high level of alert in UK and France owing to recent unsettled times, I was grateful to return to the relative quiet and safety we enjoy here in Hobart.

We have many special events planned for Term 2. I do hope to see you at one of these shortly.
