It's been a busy few weeks at CMA with numerous festivals and shows taking place (see images below). One of the highlights was the launch of the Festival of Chichester, staged by CMA with the support of ROX Music and Arts and Chichester District Council. Over 30 students performed to a large crowd on Cathedral Green in celebration of the first day of the Festival, officially opened by the Mayor. Other events included Chi Fest, Battle of Bands at the Wedgewood Rooms (Congrats to CMA's Propella for winning!), Anna Foye and Friends at the Live Room, accompanied by pro Jazz and string musicians (special thanks to Georgie Warden), and the CMA Adult students 'Open Mic' at the Chi Inn (with thanks to Daniela).

The CMA Summer Showcase takes place this Saturday (11th July) at Aldingbourne Country Centre (just of the A27 near Fontwell). more 50 CMA students will be performing on the Meadow Stage, along with other local artsists between midday and 6pm. Real Ale beer tent and Hog Roast courtesy of the Wilkes Head, kids activities, picnic areas and loads of live music, all in support of local charities. £6 on the door (£4 for kids and under 2's free) with Family discount available. The site opens at 11am. We look forward to seeing you there!
