Kurralee Continues to Provide Essential Childcare Services
Following a public process, Council is pleased to announce Lighthouse Early Learning Centre, North Strathfield will, from January 2020, continue Kurralee’s long tradition of delivering high-quality childcare services to the families of Homebush West and Homebush.
On behalf of the countless children who attended Kurralee over the past 43 years, Council would like to acknowledge and thank Integricare for providing quality childcare services to the local community

Free Movies Under the Stars
Movies in the Park has a new home for the 2019/2020 season. Join us at Bark Huts Reserve for the latest box office hits under the stars! Bring a blanket and pack a picnic for a night of fun and free entertainment with family and friends.
Stop It or Cop It
Double demerits will apply this long weekend Friday 4 October to Monday 7 October for anyone caught breaking road rules. These include, but are not limited to, speeding, using a mobile phone illegally (increased demerits – 10 points), or not wearing a seatbelt or motorcycle helmet.
National Safe Work Month

Council invites the community to review the draft Local Strategic Planning Statement - Strathfield 2040, which lays out the planning priorities for the Strathfield area, including in relation to planning for Greater Sydney. Feedback can be submitted before 5pm, 8 November 2019.
