- The Doctors Technology Office (DTO) is now hosting weekly drop-in telemedicine webinars for physicians, every Thursday starting March 26, 2020. Register here for one or several dates. DTO has also produced a telemedicine patient Q&A for you to use here.
- Many cancer screening services throughout the province have been temporarily suspended to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and allow to focus resources on urgent/emergent care. View the details here.
- Please regularly visit Island Health's Primary Care Package page on their coronavirus updates website, the BCCDC page and Pathways for updates.
In case you missed it: - Pathways is setting up a public-facing virtual care directory with clinic and physician information around their virtual care supports such as links to clinic websites and online waiting rooms, and with instructions for patients with flu-like symptoms (e.g. call the clinic, go to a central assessment
centre, or go to our online waiting room). To build on the existing information in Pathways, Pathways would like to collect family practice telehealth data. You can create your profile through this short one page survey here.
Pathways will make the data available asap to help unburden you from non-medical tasks.
