Faculty Showcase: Gabe Saucedo Wednesday, November 6 Gabe Saucedo designed his summer online course, Principles of Accounting, with a wealth of materials and activities to help students succeed. Set in the context of how accounting works in everyday life, Gabe created Learning Glass tutorials, voiceover problem tutorials, practice questions, and discussions that centered around the application of accounting principles in real life. Please join us for an inspiring tour of this course where Gabe will share his course creation process as well as reflections on the initial offering of the course in Summer Quarter, 2019. Light lunch provided. CDLI Introduces TidyUP for CanvasAre your Canvas courses bloated with outdated files, pages or assignments? Unused materials can make it hard to find current content, but until now it has been difficult to identify which materials were not being used. Enter TidyUp, a new tool for quickly identifying and deleting old materials. TidyUp is already installed in your Canvas course. Check out the TidyUp User Guide for instructions or contact CDLI for an individual consultation. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...If you happened to be on campus shortly before the quarter started, you may have seen a toolbox filled with goodies in your department. CDLI introduced Canvas Course Tune-Up, a new two-day workshop, helping faculty clean up their courses, check for accessibility compliance, improve page designs, and create home pages. Many thanks to those who were able to join us, it was a success! Do not fret if you missed these sessions, our doors are always open for your Canvas needs.
