Book ReviewOur first featured Book of the Month is Fat Quarter Style by It's Sew Emma. This quilt pattern book features twelve fun easy to follow patterns using fat quarters with easy to follow instructions for the beginner to the intermediate quilter. The beginning of the book gives you a list of recommended supplies, techniques, backing and binding tips which are very helpful. One of the features we really like about this book is they offer several size options including crib, lap, twin and queen including backing fabric requirements for either horizontal or vertical backing piecing. Each pattern offers easy to follow instructions with illustrations for cutting and layout that made piecing and completing the quilts enjoyable. The finished quilts are well photographed giving you a full image of each completed quilt along, with natural settings showing the drape of the quilts. Primrose and Lattice, two quilts from the book will be on display in the store for you to ooh and ahh over! We hope you enjoy this pattern book as much as we have.
