Vention, a Montreal-based digital manufacturing automation provider, closed a $95 million Series C round. Georgian led the investment, which saw participation from White Star Capital, Bain Capital Ventures and Bolt Ventures.
SkySpecs, an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based renewable energy asset management provider, completed an $80 million funding round. The Sustainable Investing business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management led the investment, which included support from Statkraft Ventures, Equinor Ventures, Evergy Ventures, UL Ventures and Huron River Ventures.
Supabase Inc., a Pleasanton, Calif.-based open-source database startup, secured $80 million in Series B financing. Lead investor Felicis Ventures was joined by Coatue Management and Lightspeed Venture Partners in the round.
Mothership, an Austin, Texas-based same-day delivery provider, nabbed a $76 million investment from Benchmark, WestCap, Bow Capital and others.
Nexite, a Tel Aviv-based real-time in-store sales intelligence provider, fetched $67 million in Series C funding. Led by Pitango Growth and Saban Ventures, the round included contributions from Battery Ventures, Intel Capital, Pitango First and Vertex Ventures.
Classiq, a Tel Aviv-based quantum software development startup, added new funding from HSBC, NTT Finance and Intesa Sanpaolo to close its Series B round at $36 million. Hewlett Packard Pathfinder, Phoenix, Spike Ventures and Samsung NEXT provided the round’s initial $33 million tranche in February.
Sustain.Life, a New York-based platform empowering small and medium-sized enterprises to take impactful climate action, was seeded with a $16 million investment. Tapestry Venture Capital and Sustain.Life co-founder Mike Hanrahan co-led the round, which included participation from Active Impact Investments, Kompas, Agya Ventures and Seyen Capital.
StartPlaying, a tabletop role-playing platform, raised a $6.5 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
50skills, an Iceland-based human resources software startup, picked up a €2.5 million ($2.6 million) investment led by Frumtak Ventures.
