Principal's Message

It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful our students are here at the Westport Campus. This was again confirmed this morning when a parent and two potential students were being shown around the campus. Whilst visiting the TAS kitchen area a student stopped what they were doing and offered the new students some of his pizza scroll that he had just made. Similarly when they were visiting the TAS Industrial Arts area a number of students made them feel welcomed by saying hello. Great to experience this type of behaviour in our educational community.

The Hastings Secondary College Principals warmly extend an invitation to Year 10 students and their parents/carers to our Subject Selection Evening.

Panthers Port Macquarie Auditorium Tuesday 4 June 6pm - 8pm

Our evening will include an outline of senior school expectations as well as the senior curriculum opportunities available at Hastings Secondary College in 2020. Important information for you and your child regarding their curriculum choices and elective patterns for Year 11 2020 will also be provided.

Your child has received a copy of our Senior Studies Guide or a copy can be downloaded from our website hastingssecondarycollege.com.au. This has detailed information regarding your child’s senior studies and the extensive course offerings available at our College.

Our Subject Selection Evening complements our Senior Studies Guide by providing opportunities to speak with teachers, advisors and the executive from both campuses about curriculum choices and pathway options for their senior years.

The evening includes a "course market" where our dedicated teachers are available to provide you with valuable information regarding the extensive variety of courses on offer.

Working in partnership with parents and carers is an integral part of the outstanding education delivered to your child at Hastings Secondary College.
