REGIONS-RHONE-ALPES FIBA OCTOBER NETWORKING BUSINESS LUNCH- 20 OCTOBER 2017 Reine Astrid – Lyon – France DORDOGNE DELEGATION SUCCESSFUL NETWORKING EVENING IN EYMET - THURSDAY 5 OCTOBER 2017 Since Autumn 2015, the FBCCI 24 have been organising monthly networking evenings in the convivial surroundings of the “QG”, a bar in the heart of the old city of Périgueux, the county town ( Préfecture ) of the Dordogne. These evenings have proved popular and successful, but realising the Dordogne to be a very large Department, with many of the Franco-British community living further than striking distance from Périgueux, the Dordogne Liaison Committee, FBCCI 24, took the decision to hold certain of these gatherings in towns in the more remote areas. One of our committee members, Eric ENGELS, an insurance broker from the Eymet area, took charge of the organisation and it was with great pleasure that we experienced times during the evening when a “House Full” notice would have been justified.
