A social-engineering attack at blockchain-based financial firm Figure Technology Solutions compromised the personal data of nearly 1 million customers, according to breach-tracker Have I Been Pwned. The ShinyHunters hacking group claimed it was behind the attack and posted some of the data online. Figure went public in September. (TechCrunch)

Microsoft's Copilot AI has been summarizing sensitive emails due to a coding bug, the company said. Copilot ignored "confidential" labels and data-loss prevention policies. Microsoft said it has started to provide fixes to customers and continues to investigate the scope of the problem. (Bleeping Computer)

Palo Alto Networks cut its full-year profit forecast Wednesday, citing costs of absorbing several recent acquisitions, including its $2.3 billion buy of CyberArk. Palo Alto is also buying Tel Aviv-based Koi Security and cloud security provider Chronosphere. Projections for full-year revenue, on the other hand, rose to $11.28 billion to $11.31 billion from $10.50 billion to $10.54 billion. (Reuters)
