Happy Friday. On this day in 1947, Jackie Robinson debuts for the Brooklyn Dodgers, breaking baseball's color line and presumably becoming the first player asked for his birth certificate at first base.

Democratic Candidates Quarrel at Debate But Agree Wolf Blitzer Should Stop Talking

THURSDAY NIGHT'S PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE was essentially the ninth (and possibly final) installment in the nationwide TV series The Democrats Debate Issues, which has usually lagged in ratings behind rival program The Republicans Rehash Twitter Arguments and Compare Private Part Sizes.

BOTH CANDIDATES INTERRUPTED CNN’S Wolf Blitzer whenever humanly possible, with Hillary Clinton constantly declaring that an attack on her is an attack on President Obama.

IF YOU SAY HER FUNDRAISING is immoral, she suggested, then you’re saying President Obama’s fundraising is immoral. If you say she’s a warmonger, you’re saying President Obama is a warmonger. If you say she conducted shady land deals in Arkansas, you’re saying President Obama conducted shady land deals in Arkansas. Pretty good strategy!

Trump Aide Hears 4 Sweetest Words One Can Say to a Trump Aide: The Charges are Dropped

DONALD TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER Corey Lewandowski will not be charged with battery on reporter Michelle Fields, Florida State Attorney David Aronberg announced Thursday, marking the first electoral victory for the Trump campaign since Arizona in mid-March.

“ALTHOUGH THE FACTS support the allegation that Mr. Lewandowski did grab Ms. Fields' arm against her will, Mr. Lewandowski has a reasonable hypothesis of innocence,” Aronberg said.

ARONBERG ADDED that there had been probable cause for the arrest of Trump’s top aide but there was a higher standard for prosecution, apparently a higher standard than Trump has for hiring aides.

Movie Reminds America What Supreme Court Confirmations Actually Look Like

THE ONLY AMERICANS likely to see a Supreme Court confirmation this spring are HBO subscribers and their adult children who have stolen their HBO GO passwords.

CONFIRMATION, starring Scandal’s Kerry Washington, debuts on the premium cable channel Sunday evening.

THE FILM tells the story of America’s introduction to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the concept of sexual harassment and Thomas's accuser Anita Hill, national conservatives’ least favorite woman until they got to know Hillary Clinton.

Microsoft Sues to Protect Privacy of Hotmail... Which Apparently Still Exists

IT'S COME TO THIS: Tech companies whose business models often depend on tracking our online behavior have pretty much become our only defense against the ever more watchful eye of the federal government.

NOW IT'S MICROSOFT'S TURN to fight the feds, arguing they're "violating the U.S. Constitution by preventing Microsoft from notifying thousands of customers about government requests for their emails and other documents," Reuters reports.

IN OTHER WORDS, they're arguing the government’s action violates both your fourth amendment right to know if the government is invading your privacy... and your first amendment right to then go online and tell millions of people about it.

CAFE Goes Live From the Democratic Debate in Brooklyn

NO, THE UNITED NATIONS WILL NOT KILL AMERICANS WHO don't turn in their guns. That's Barack Obama's job.

GOOD WILL MARTIAN—Yes, NASA is really trying to grow potatoes on Mars. No word on whether MIT is really trying to get Matt Damon to solve math problems.
