Stay Safe, | STRESS AWARENESS MONTH - NEW ARTICLE | APRIL IS STRESS AWARENESS MONTH: 'STRESS, PERFORMANCE AND AWARENESS' 'Did you know that work is the number one cause of stress? And were you aware that two-thirds of people with a mental health problem believe that workplace stress contributed to their illness? They believe long hours, unrealistic deadlines, or bad management either caused or exacerbated their condition.' All processes were checked thoroughly, with a comprehensive review of an NFDC Corporate Members' recent audit. SSIP's auditor was incredibly impressed at the professionalism shown and the high standards implemented in such a short period of time since the swap to the Site Safety in Procurement scheme on 1st April. Members may now benefit from the use of 'Deemed to Satisfy' with all other applicable accreditation bodies. MIDLANDS & WELSH REPRESENTATIVE SELECTED During the recent Midlands & Welsh Regional meeting, members appointed and welcomed their newest officer, Regional Representative Patrick Williamson.
