This class is designed as a follow up to the Beginning Quilt Making class.  It is also a good refresher if you have been away from the art of quilting for awhile. Instructions will cover completing a more advanced quilt, based on one of 4 patterns.

We are proud to partner with Carole of From My Carolina Home in her efforts to provide quilts to our NC neighbors who were so profoundly affected by the 2018 hurricanes.

Whether you are making a quilt specifically for this cause, or you have one finished and sitting on a shelf in your home, all quilts are welcome. Do you have a completed quilt that you could part with for someone who lost everything?

This project will continue through summer of 2019, so there is plenty of time to make and drop off a quilt.

Cary Quilting Company is glad to be a drop off site for this generous project.

        Our first donation of quilts!

        Fabric Boxes by Julianne Walther
        Take me to the tutorial!

         Free Pattern

If you've heard of "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo" on Netflix, you might be fascinated with a new-found love of organizing drawers and closets. Marie often brings small boxes to help her clients tidy their lives, but Julianne thought it would spark joy for her to make my own!  This tutorial by Julianne Walther will teach you how to create your own organizing boxes.

Thank you from Cary Quilting Co!

I just want to say a quick word of thanks to everyone who came to visit us last weekend during our 6th Birthday celebration! I was absolutely overwhelmed by the love, and we are excited to begin our 7th year of serving our amazing community of quilters. Thank you!
