When it does, this presents an opportunity to teach and prepare children for the reality of grief which will inevitably touch their lives at some point. Be it the death of a grandparent, the loss of a very dear pet or, indeed a tragic world event, further removed from their daily life, we should encourage them to feel and talk about their emotions. It is not an easy conversation but, it is a very important one, which can help them to cope and live with the reality of death. We hope that our artists' interpretations inspire and inject hope into these difficult conversations.
