Agiloft Inc., a Redwood City, Calif.-based contract and commerce lifecycle management software provider, raised a $45 million growth investment from FTV Capital. Along with the funding, Agiloft appointed Eric Laughlin, former global leader of legal managed services at Ernst & Young LLP, as its chief executive, while founder and former CEO Colin Earl will remain with the company as chief technology officer. FTV Capital's Alex Mason and Abhay Puskoor will join Agiloft's board.
Dutchie, a Bend, Ore.-based online cannabis marketplace, completed a $35 million Series B round from investors including Casa Verde Capital, Thirty Five Ventures, Thrive Capital and Gron Ventures.
Seated, a New York-based restaurant rewards platform, nabbed $30 million in funding and acquired digital event booking platform VenueBook. Insight Partners led the round, which included contributions from Craft Ventures, Greycroft and Rho Capital Partners. VenueBook was backed by investors including Cayuga Venture Fund, I2BF Global Ventures, Kindler Capital, MI Ventures, Brand New Matter and RiverPark Ventures. Terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
SpyCloud Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of account takeover prevention technology, closed a $30 million Series C round. Centana Growth Partners led the investment, with participation from M12, Altos Ventures, Silverton Partners and March Capital Partners. Eric Byunn, partner at Centana Growth, joined the board.
Movable Ink, a New York-based marketing platform, picked up a $30 million Series C investment from Contour Venture Partners, Intel Capital and Silver Lake Waterman.
Buildkite, an Australia-based software testing and deployment startup, raised 28 million Australian dollars ($20.3 million), bringing the company’s valuation to over A$200 million ($144.8 million). OpenView Venture Partners led the round.
Xos Trucks Inc., a Los Angeles-based manufacturer of fully electric commercial vehicles, collected $20 million in funding from investors including Proeza Ventures and Build Capital Group. Proeza’s Rodolfo Elias Dieck and Build Capital’s Mark Lampert will join the board.
Chili Piper Inc., a scheduling app for sales teams, snagged $18 million in Series A financing. Base10 Partners led the round, with General Partner TJ Nahigian joining the board. Gradient Ventures also participated in the funding.
Fetch Package Inc., an Austin, Texas-based off-site package delivery service for apartment communities, gathered an $18 million Series B round of funding. Pando Ventures and Iron Gate Capital led the investment, with support from existing investors Signal Peak Ventures, Silverton Partners, Seamless and Venn Ventures. Iron Gate Partner AJ Dye will join the board.
Lana, a Madrid-based personal finance platform for the underbanked in Latin America, secured $12 million in Series A financing. Base10 Partners led the investment, which included contributions from Cabify and Cathay Innovation.
FPL Technologies, an Indian mobile-first credit-card startup, fetched $10 million in Series A funding from Sequoia India, Matrix Partners India, Hummingbird Ventures and others.
