Council Elects a New Mayor

Strathfield Council is pleased to announce that at its meeting last night, Councillor Antoine Doueihi was elected Mayor, with Cr Matthew Blackmore re-elected Deputy Mayor. Council congratulates Mayor Doueihi and Deputy Mayor Blackmore on their elections and wish them the best for their term.

Council would also like to thank the outgoing Mayor, Cr Gulian Vaccari, for his dedicated service to the community, both serving as the immediate past Mayor for 2017 to 2019, and as a second term Councillor on Strathfield Council.
