schoolED is pleased to announce their 2023 study tour for school leaders.

To support your school’s improvement agenda schoolED is hosting a one-week education tour of New York City focussing on the cognitive needs of students to enhance academic growth in literacy and numeracy, as well as developing learner agency and well being.

Brain and psychological research is finding that meeting the needs of curiosity, purpose and meaning are essential for improving academic achievement, school climate, well being and students becoming the best they can become.

The tour includes a three day Learning and the Brain conference. This conference will explore the learning sciences through the importance of peers, social identity, connections, cognition, caring, cooperating, collaborating and belonging for well being and learning. A feature of the tour will be visits to New York City schools, speaking with educators and school leaders. This invaluable tour will also see participants meet with system leaders to learn more about school implementation.

Daily hotel debrief sessions ensure you get the most from your days and schoolED consultants will be available for further advice and support upon returning to Australia.

Tour includes:

• Return flights to New York City and airport transfers
