*There will be no Tuesday/Thursday lessons until July 9. Due to last week of school and Fourth of July week. **Mount Rainier Pool will be closed August 10-18 for Maintenance and Deep Cleaning. ***Special 6-week session due to August 10-18 Closure. Only charged for six-week session. See website for details.
Registration starts at 4:00pm on weekdays and 7:00am on Saturdays.

Placement Tests
All participants are required to complete a placement test before registering for classes. There are no appointments as tests will be done drop-in on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will stay until all tests are completed. Parent or Guardian must be present during test. Placement tests are held during Family Swims.

Fees
Pre and Learn to Swim Levels: $64 for residents and $78 for non-residents*.
Parent & Child Classes: Swim Lessons are $47 for residents and $60 for non-residents*.
6-Week Saturday Session: There will be a special 6-week session, Saturday, June 29-August 3 (Saturday class only!). Parent and Tot Classes are $35.25 for residents and $45 for non-residents. All other classes will be $48 for residents and $58.50 for non-residents.
All lessons include a 5-Visit Swim Lesson Practice Card (up to a $18.75 value) to be used at Family, Open and Lap Swims.
*SPECIAL - residents are anyone that lives inside the boundaries of Des Moines and Normandy Park.
Registration
You can either register in-person or over the phone.
In-person will be helped first-come, first-serve.
Over-the-phone will also be helped first-come, first-served. Please keep calling back until you get through, messages will be called back once all phone calls are answered.

Scholarship Program
You can now apply for our expanded scholarship program that offers up to 90% financial aid, and includes swim lessons, facility passes and water exercise. Application for scholarship program does not guarantee a spot in classes or funding.

Camp KHAOS Swim Lesson Scholarships
Camp KHAOS participants and families: It is now easier than ever to take lessons at the Mount Rainier Pool. Scholarship criteria will be guaranteed at the Mount Rainier Pool this summer.
- Scholarships of up to 90%.
- Kids take swim lessons during Camp KHAOS pool visits. Freeing up evening and weekends.
- New American Red Cross certifications that are most universally accepted program.
- Feel more secure this summer with your child trained around water.
- Work seamlessly with other Mount Rainier Pool swim lessons.

Rain or Shine
Make sure you get the most of your time this summer! Our swim lessons are scheduled Rain or Shine with our pool water being 82-85 degrees and our air temperature being warmer.
