JFC Construction Update - Night works notification: Upper Queen Street corner temporary traffic lights CONSTRUCTION UPDATERead our construction update to see what has been achieved and what is coming up on the Karangahape Road Enhancements project. Queen Street corner near Amnesty International: temporary traffic lightsThese night works are taking place in the evening due to high pedestrian and vehicle numbers during the day as changes to the traffic lights are required. A change in lane layout will be required while this work is taking place, however vehicle and footpath access will be maintained around the work. Upcoming night works what to expect: On Sunday Night, 19 July night work will take place at the traffic island build out near Amnesty International. The existing traffic light will be removed and put onto a drum so that work on the kerbline can continue. This work will only take one night to complete. Please note there will be intermittent medium to high volume noise, i.e. grinding but we will endeavour to have noisy works completed by 10:30pm.
