Celebrate Lunar New Year this Saturday!

There’s only 2 days until the 2020 Lunar New Year Festival! Join us and celebrate the year of the rat with fun activities, cultural entertainment and a traditional lion dance.

Hudson Park Lake

We were able to turn on the stormwater harvesting pump to fill the lake in the upgraded Hudson Park with last week’s rainfall. The lake will help support the greenery in the park, putting every drop to good use!

Water Restrictions in Sydney

Level 2 water restrictions for residents and businesses are in place due to plummeting dam levels. Fines of $220 will apply for residents and $550 for businesses who don't follow the restrictions.

Mayor Addresses Bush Fire Crisis

Mayor Doueihi has released a letter expressing sympathy for those affected by bush fires and outlining Council’s response, including the offer of $200,000 of in-kind resources to assist with the recovery effort.

Library Upgrade

Works are well and truly underway at Strathfield Library! Wall framing, installation of initial electronics and flooring are just some of the jobs for this week. Remember you can still borrow books via the book library.
