2021 Lifesaving Development CampIn April, SLSNSW held its first Lifesaving Development Camp for surf lifesavers aged 16-21 years. The live-in program focused on developing and enhancing the knowledge and skills of young people, while at the same time preparing them to take on more responsibility in their patrol teams, their own clubs, and the wider community. Paddle Out for Tim Kirkby, Freshwater SLSCThe family of Tim Kirkby wish to advise there will be a paddle out and scattering of Tim’s ashes on Sunday 16 May at 7am, Freshwater Beach. Members are invited to attend the ceremony, including the paddle out, to celebrate and remember Tim’s life. Afterwards there will be a gathering in the club’s Freshwater Room.
