21 Day Challenge: Black Lives Matter

In the wake of George Floyd’s murder and the rise of global protest demanding systemic change, it is imperative that we reexamine, and restructure programs intended to address issues of social justice.  What does it mean to serve?

21 Days of Action: Black Lives Matter (Show Up, Act Up, and Speak Up) is a self-reflective series to critically engage the Marquette community in conversations on racial injustices, economic injustices, and what it means to truly serve in a community.

For four weeks, participants will Show Up (engage in multimedia resources on the theme), Act Up (participate in a virtual or in-person action in support of justice), and Speak Up (meet virtually or in-person with peers to discuss and support).

Speak Up groups will meet on Tuesdays from 12-1pm or Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. You will have the option to participate virtually or in-person. Show Up and Act Up portions will be provided to you to complete at your convenience.
