Principal's Message - Meaghan Cook Students were welcomed back to classrooms at Port Macquarie Campus this week, and on behalf of our teachers and myself, we have been thrilled with the turn-out. The week has been an absolute success and I want to thank our parents and students. The kids have loved being back, and our teachers have loved seeing them too. This week we celebrated both National Sorry Day on Tuesday and now Reconciliation Week that ends next Wednesday 3rd June. The theme this year is ‘In This Together’. A guide to NSW school students returning to face-to-face learningThe Premier and Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning announced all students are to full time on-campus teaching and learning from Monday 25 May (Week 5 Term 2). Read more Higher School Certificate Examination Timetable 2020 Note: 2020 HSC additional week NESA have advised that the HSC written exams will start later than originally planned to provide more support for our students in the lead up to the exams. It is expected that Year 12 students will continue to attend lessons on site up until Monday 19 October, 2020. Year 12 can access a personalised exam timetable in their NESA Students Online account. Students require their NESA number and will need to activate the account first. Return of School Laptops Thank you to the students/parents/carers who have returned computers, iPads and charges to the school. There are still some returns outstanding. This equipment must be returned to the library and signed back in as soon as possible. School Uniforms Uniform supplies are available for sale and fittings through the main office from 7.30 am - 8.30 am on Monday and Thursday mornings. Now in stock embroidered navy dress pants for girls - $55.00 each. Jumpers cost $25.00 and Jackets are $35.00 each. Congratulations to winners of last week's challenge. Test yourself with Week 6 problems It was great to see quite a few entries in the Unlock the Box Challenge this week but it would be fabulous to see even more. Remember you can enter just one, two or all three levels. Each correct entry for each level puts you in the draw for the weekly chocolates and the Zahara voucher at the end of term. Virtual Careers Expo's As you are aware with the current COVID restrictions in place there will unfortunately be no University Open Days or Career Expo excursions to assist Year 12 students with their career exploration.
