Save the Showbox: another Landmark Victory

Congratulations to Shannon Welles, MFA '19 and fellow Friends of the Showbox organizers for another step toward preserving the Showbox! On July 17, the Landmarks Preservation Board unanimously designated the interior and exterior of the Showbox under Criteria C and D- cultural significance and embodying architectural characteristics of a style or period. The venue is not saved yet, but this is a huge victory for Seattle.
