Dear Cyber Houston Community, 

There is an urgent need for 75-100 IT volunteers of all skill levels who can help in getting 128 HISD locations up and running before September 11. 

For example, volunteers are needed for simple things like checking if PCs power up; to checking network routers, switches, firewalls; to more advanced system administration tasks. 

We need help starting on Wednesday 9/6 thru Sun 9/10 between the hours of 8a - 8p (minimum 3 hour blocks). Whatever help you can provide between these hours on these days would be greatly appreciated. 

If you are available to volunteer, please reply to this email with your name, contact information, days and hours you are available, and a few bullets listing your IT skills. You may also call Liz Batlle at 713.255.4853 or Akhtar Samani at 713.255.4831 with your information. 

In any case, please forward this email to your friends and family requesting them to volunteer, if they can. 

A separate email will be sent out to those who do volunteer, letting them know of the meeting location and time on Wednesday.
