Click here 24 January 2019 Introducing the GP registrar of the year for 2018Dr Bekkie Lee was awarded the Dr Debbie Stach GP Registrar of the Year Award at the NTGPE Awards Night on 19 November 2018. This award is presented to a GP registrar who is outstanding in their approach to medicine and has a proven commitment to Indigenous health in the NT. According to her peers, Bekkie is both committed to Indigenous health and possesses a remarkable ability to empathise with her patients. Her no-nonsense approach to life has bolstered her reputation for being a strong, driven, highly skilled and respected doctor. Hosted by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia, RMA19 is being held on the Gold Coast from 23 - 26 October and is currently seeking authors and presenters to submit their abstracts for consideration to present to over 700 delegates, reflecting the theme ‘Riding the Wave of Change’. NTGPE Vorotek VScope loan on applicationVorotek VScope is an optical device that provides illumination and magnification and can assist with fine suturing, wound exploration, front-of-eye procedures, ENT examination and gynaecological procedures. The optics can be easily be rotated in and out of use, returning back into the exact set up position every time. Upward rotation of the optics allows uninterrupted vision, with or without headlight illumination.
