In case you were wondering how this fits in with the 2018 theme of Sew Musical, check out the entire quilt! Our owner Julianne came up with the concept, worked with Sandy Fitzpatrick to develop the design, and organized the 8 Raleigh and Cary area shops to create one amazing project! This summer, travel to the 8 area stores and grab all of the coordinated laser-cut kits (or free patterns) to make your own slice of paradise!

Musical notes are sold separately, and the letter patterns are a part of our free pattern, so you can choose to add whatever you love to your quilt, like your favorite beach, boat name, beach house name, favorite island, whatever you love!

And one more new item for this year, already available: Our Fabric Plate!

Fabric Dyeing 101 with Kathie

Saturday, June 9, 10:30 - 1:30

This class will take the mystery out of dyeing with Procian Fiber Reactive dyes. You’ll get an overview as well as “hands on” experience to confidently start dyeing your own fabrics.

Seeing Stars Quilt-a-Long with Rosi

12 optional monthly meetings, beginning on June 16th

Join the guided quilt-along using the “I’m Seeing Stars” pattern by Rosi Hanley. Participants will be guided through the assembly of all blocks for the quilt top, including a paper piecing demo to cover the paper pieced blocks.

Stepping Stones Class with Michael

July 1, 12pm - 6 pm

Everyone loves a good tumbling block quilt but not everyone is as excited with all of the “Y” seams. Michael's modern take on the tumbling block will have you piecing triangles and diamonds to create the same effect.

Meeting Center

Our Meeting Center is ready for your group! Quilt related or not, the space is available for rent. Lots of great amenities, and a very reasonable rental price make this a great spot for your next event, whatever it might be! All of our classes also take place in this roomy space.

Longarm Quilting News

We are excited to welcome Katherine Setzer to our Longarm Quilting Team!

The quilters are loving their new, dedicated space! Have you seen it yet? Come to take a peek!

You may have noticed that Betty, one of our machines, has been a little under the weather lately. We are excitedly anticipating quilting with a whole new table and system, to be delivered in the next few days! Betty and the quilting team are really excited to quilt for you on her upgraded APQS Bliss System SOON!

Orders are currently at a 6-week turnaround, but we hope to be quilting in double-speed as soon as Betty is back in business!
