Looking back and looking forward

For all sorts of reasons, it has been a very good year for Green's and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees, contractors, clients, agents, partners and suppliers around the world for helping us to succeed and grow. We hope it has been a successful 12 months for you too and that we can all look forward to 2018 with anticipation and optimism.

In the factory

We are in the process of reviewing what our factory team has accomplished this year. We've unearthed some pretty staggering numbers including the amount of steel we've utilised, fins made, tubes cut and so on and will be sharing this information soon. Meanwhile we are delighted that we were recently successfully assessed against the criteria for EN1090. This now sits alongside the other standards we have already achieved over the past few years including ASME, ISO 3834, ISO 14001 and Safe Contractor. During 2017 we were also approved as meeting the standard of ISO9001:2015 while most people are still working to the 2006 standard, demonstrating our determination to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Around the world

Our business is increasingly global and this year our international sales doubled. Waste heat recovery equipment our team fabricated has been shipped far and wide to countries such as Vietnam, the US, Finland, Turkey, France and Mauritius to name just a few. And we have also supplied more than 4,200 spare parts to 355 companies in 40 countries as part of our growing aftermarket service. We have already secured a number of interesting contracts for 2018 as well as interest from countries where we've never traded previously as a result of new partnerships formed recently.

Our growing team is set to grow more

We've taken on new people in virtually all areas of the company over the last twelve months. From sales and customer support to welders and on-site engineers and board directors, our existing strong team has been further boosted to helps us to meet our aim continually to improve our products and support services. Four of our long standing staff, who between them had racked up almost 150 years of service at Green's, retired this year. While we were sad to see them leave, their legacy will continue and grow through new recruits.
