There are six new guests in town - and they're hungry! But the normal cakes and cookies won't do. These guests like something savory with their sweet. Something salty and meaty. These guests want BACON!

Going on sale January 26, we are making a 10 card expansion pack for our hit card game Just Desserts. Better with Bacon features six new edibles, four new customers, and one new suit: Bacon! This expansion proves that Just Desserts is definitely Better with Bacon! Oh, and we fibbed a little. There is one of the four new guests who doesn't want ANY bacon in her desserts: The Vegetarian!

Find Better with Bacon and Just Desserts (and more!) at your local game store!

Every week, all sorts of new games come out from all sorts of game companies, making it tricky for game stores to know what games to stock. As the year begins, we want to ask you, our fans, to help us with something - something that's important to us. If you want a copy of Better with Bacon (and Just Desserts, if you don't have it yet), and you have a friendly local game store near you, please visit or call them and ask them to get a copy for you. The only way stores will know that you want our games is for you to tell them. And not only will you help Looney Labs, but you may make new friends at your local game store, too.

For game stores are some of the coolest places in the world and supporting us by supporting them is a wonderful thing. Game stores offer more than just a place to buy something. They offer the knowledge and caring of the people who work there, who all want to help you find and learn and play games. So, if you can, please support Looney Labs by asking your local game store to stock our games, and then support them by buying some!

Q: What’s your favorite number?

A: 17. There are other numbers of which I am partial, but 17 has been my official favorite number since I was young, when I noticed how often 17 comes up in stories. It’s always like, “This is the 17th time we’ve tried this,” when it finally works. (Watch for it, you’ll notice the trend.) I now realize this is because 17 is “the least random number,” i.e. it’s a number that sounds random but actually gets chosen more often than it should, because people choose it more often than other numbers because it sounds random. I think it’s because it’s the first prime number with no other associations (7 & 11 are lucky, 13 is unlucky, 17 is…). The mystical importance of the number 17 is also a plot point in a 3-record concept album from 1977 called Consequences.
