Welcoming our 11th Cohort of Jardine Ambassadors
We welcomed our 11th cohort of Jardine Ambassadors since January as MINDSET gears for its 10th-anniversary celebration. Despite the decreased interaction for the JA programme due to COVID-19, we are delighted that we received good responses in applications across the Jardine business units. Fondly known as JAs, these individuals are carefully selected through a stringent selection process and will serve as Jardines and MINDSET’s representatives to serve the mental health community. They also plan to spearhead various activities and initiatives to spread greater mental health awareness.
Fundraising for DigitalMINDSET
Each year, Jardines and MINDSET select a beneficiary to fundraise towards, and for 2021, we will continue our support for DigitalMINDSET, our flagship project in partnership with TOUCH Community Services. DigitalMINDSET looks to support youths ages 12 to 21 with excessive technological device usage coupled with emotional regulation issues. The programme also looks to inculcate the right usage for digital devices. Donate via https://www.giving.sg/campaigns/tmcc2021 to support these youths on their road to recovery.

Jardine Ambassadors are key pillars of support to Jardine’s corporate giving strategies, therefore it is important that we hone their skills and support their development during their two years in MINDSET. Each cohort of JAs is put through specially curated programmes tailored to individual needs, such as project management or leadership skills. They also learn more about mental health issues and how to support those around them who may experience such challenges.
Jardine Ambassador

Congratulations to Keith Ooi and Jason Tan who were recognised as Jardine Ambassadors of the Quarter! In addition to fulfilling their daily job responsibilities, our JAs never hesitate to go the extra mile in demonstrating their commitment to MINDSET.

Keith was aware that juggling between both his day job and MINDSET would not be an easy feat, but he looked towards the challenge as he believed the positive impact will bring about great satisfaction. His journey in MINDSET has also taught him how to interact with persons-in-recovery through conscious understanding and an empathetic approach.

In his journey as a Jardine Ambassador, Jason was heartened to see more employers embracing hiring persons-in-recovery. Getting clients job placements also fueled his passion as he navigates between work and MINDSET commitments. He firmly believes in serving wholeheartedly and to give his all in whatever he does.
