Tuesday, January 3, 2017 Welcome to 2017!!!! Faculty of Management Academic Advising HoursDrop-in Advising Times: Undergrad Office Contact Info: WONDERING HOW TO GET BACK INTO SCHOOL MODE AFTER BEING ON HOLIDAY MODE? READ ON....... 1. About a week or a few days before you are set to start classes again, try to get to bed and wake up a little earlier. Eat your meals at the same time you do when you are in school and take time out each day to read a book or do some writing. 2. Before classes start, make a list of all the things you want to achieve for the remainder of the term. Write the list on a piece of paper, and stick it to your mirror or bulletin board, so you have a daily reminder of your objectives. 3. Besides your regular class times, try to schedule in set study times, gym sessions and extracurricular activities at set times every day. 4. Form a study group. Sometimes it is easier to get things done if you have other people to encourage and motivate you. Study groups are great because they allow you to socialize and study at the same time. In addition, group members can help each other out with difficult problems or material For more great ideas on how to get back in to tip-top shape, check out tips provided by the Student Success Centre

With the closure of eCampusAlberta, the eTutorAlberta.ca coordinators are seeking new options to continue the provision of this service; unfortunately, the options are rather costly and our Tutoring Services budget would be decimated by the increase in costs. eTutorAlberta has served as a great option for our students in the past two years, particularly during peak times during the term when the Writing Centre is also very busy. Hundreds of writing submissions and eQuestions from uLethbridge students have been reviewed, and ratings of the service have been very high overall. We are disappointed to be losing this platform, but we simply could not afford to maintain this service without the significant contributions that the provincial government have committed to eCampus and eTutor in previous years. The eTutorAlberta platform is now closed permanently. We are working to share this news as widely as possible, to help minimize any disappointment on the part of our students.
