Above is our team with a few happy children from the village of Asokore that F.A.C.E. sponsored. F.A.C.E. is pleased to highlight that 8 of the above volunteers are from Canada. Engagement is important to children’s success as learners; let us show you below glimpses of the interactions our F.A.C.E 2017 Team experienced…
Our arrival brought so much excitment. Every Village hummed with positive energy and children deeply engaged in their learning
F.A.C.E. volunteers stepped back with a deep sense of satisfaction and saw first-hand, “Wow! We are making a Difference here”
When F.A.C.E. says Engagement, We Mean it! Engagement is active and takes many forms such as Dancing, Singing and Reading Along.
Carol Felius, a volunteer from Langley ,BC and a former librarian, read to them in each village.
We recognize the sincere commitments made by F.A.C.E. supporters; therefore our conversations and dialogue with children and their caregivers relay that inspiration. The accountability facet of F.A.C.E. is like no other charity around! This is what allowed us to accomplish a ranking as one of the top 50 British Columbia agencies leading the Fight against Global poverty (E. O’Connor, 2013). F.A.C.E. achieved new milestones in 2017, sponsoring over 400 beautiful children. Thank you supporters for all your tremendous contributions and let’s continue making a difference in the World. As promised, we documented our inspiring journey in photo & film formats and are very excited about sharing every bit of it with you in our subsequent newsletters. Stay Tuned :) Did you miss our 10 years anniversary video? Watch Here George Piprah, Member of FACE Board of Directors |
