Click here News in a TICNovember 2017 Dear ,In conjunction with Sherman College of Chiropractic, the New Zealand College of Chiropractic a few weekends ago delivered the final module of the Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers (ACP) programme in Australia. This very successful programme is an ideal challenge for those that want to shift gears philosophically and investigate a more in-depth understanding and appreciation of the philosophy of chiropractic. 11 candidates from Australia participated in 5 weekend long modules with instruction from the likes of Dr Bruce Lipton, Dr Bill Decken, myself and other ACP graduates. The discourse and learning culminated in a defence of a 'paper' or mini thesis that was highly anticipated and led to some robust dialogue on a number of interesting topics. The ACP programme is another way that the NZCC is enabling life long learning and engagement with the profession. We are committed to these sorts of activities for graduates as well as educating great people to become the world's best chiropractors. A number of our friends who are involved in the establishment of the Australian Chiropractic College in Adelaide completed the ACP 2017 which I'm sure will help give their programme and team a sharp philosophical edge. Run for ResearchOn 7 October, students from the College took on the gruelling 77km Hillary Trail as part of the annual Run for Research event to raise funds for chiropractic research. The event continues to grow in popularity with a large group of runners participating in the various stages and supporters cheering them along the way. A special mention to College student Kayley Coles who completed all 77km of the trail. The event raised $3,710 for chiropractic research and planning is already underway for next year's event.
