It goes without saying that 2020 presented significant challenges for Therapeutic Care providers as well as our Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care (CETC) due to the pandemic. Through these challenges, we continued to grow and learn together. Our 2020 annual report reflects a growing sense of community and shared understanding about the nature of therapeutic care work across our New South Wales, and beyond. I hope you will take a moment to reflect and celebrate all that we achieved together. We have a number of new resources to share with you this month, including our recently published Practice guide: What makes a good therapeutic residential worker? and Research briefing: Essential elements of therapeutic foster care. Both build off extensive practice and research wisdom and aim to help you and your teams navigating these complex practice areas. If you work in Intensive Therapeutic Transitional Care we are seeking expressions of interest to join a regular and focused Community of Practice. Many of you have shared a desire to have a dedicated, reflective space to share knowledge and discuss practice in relation to ITTC and we hope you will find these spaces helpful. Finally, we are looking forward to seeing many of you at our Online International Childhood Trauma Symposium in June. You can view the agenda and wonderful line up of speakers now.
