We look forward to hosting the tree planting again next year thanks to the proceeds from Sunday's event. Dirt of the Earth is a celebration of all that we love about trail running. It gets all of our friends out onto the trails together, and it gives us a chance to help give back to the community that has given us so much. We are excited to see you all Sunday. Carry a bottle. Water and Gatorade will be available at miles 1.8 5.25, and at the finish, but there will be no cups on the course! Carry a bottle or vest please! Packet PickupPacket pickup will be held at Fleet Feet Sports before the event on Friday, April 21st through Saturday, April 22nd during normal business hours. Race day packet pickup will beginning at 7am at the race site at Alum Creek State Park. Race Start TimesRaces start at 8:00 am. Race LocationThe start of the race is located just off of Hollenback Rd and just south of the dog park(3993 Hollenback Rd Lewis Center, OH 43035).
The CourseThe 2017 Dirt of the Earth Half and 10Kish will be run counter-clockwise. From the Squatch start you will head south first. Trail is marked with Orange Blazes on trees and Arrows on the ground. Aid Stations are at 1.8 miles and 5.25 miles with water and Gatorade. There will be NO CUPS. Carry a bottle. 10Kers run the loop once. Half marathoners run the loop twice. Grub and beverages will await you at the finish line.Repeat 5K loop as necessary to complete 10K and 15K. Course is marked with arrows and cones. Follow the arrows and cones and you're on the right track. Aid StationsAid Stations are at 1.8 miles and 5.25 miles with water and Gatorade.
