SonarSource, a Geneva-based developer of software for continuous code quality and security, scored a $412 million investment, giving the company a valuation of $4.7 billion. Advent International and General Catalyst led the round, which included participation from Permira.
Anuvia Plant Nutrients, a Winter Garden, Fla.-based manufacturer of sustainable fertilizers for the agriculture, turf and lawncare industries, raised $65.5 million in Series D funding. Lead investors Riverstone Holdings and Piva Capital were joined by Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Pontifax Global Food and Agriculture Technology Fund in the round. Lynn White, founder and managing director of the Twemlow Group, will become chairman of the board of directors. Additionally, Riverstone’s Cynthia Kueppers and Piva Capital’s Mark Gudiksen were added to the board.
Upside, a Washington, D.C.-based retail-technology provider to brick-and-mortar businesses, landed $65 million in equity financing along with $100 million in debt, bringing the company’s valuation up to $1.5 billion. Led by General Catalyst, the round included contributions from Bessemer Ventures and Builders VC. Upside was formerly known as GetUpside.
QuotaPath, a Philadelphia- and Austin, Texas-based commissions tracking and automation tool for sales and revenue teams, picked up a $41 million Series B round. Tribe Capital led the investment, which included participation from Insight Partners, ATX Venture Partners, Stage 2 Capital and Integr8d Capital.
Hour One, which specializes in the development of virtual humans for use in professional video communications, fetched $20 million in Series A funding. Insight Partners led the round, which included additional support from Galaxy Interactive, Remagine Ventures, Kindred Ventures, Semble Ventures and Cerca Partners. The company has offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
Wisq, a Redwood City, Calif.-based startup helping to improve the social well-being of employees, closed a $20 million Series A round. Norwest Venture Partners led the investment, which saw participation from True Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
Conjura, an Ireland-based e-commerce data analytics platform, snagged €15 million (about $16 million) in Series A financing. Act Venture Capital and MiddleGame Ventures co-led the round, which included support from Tribal.vc.
Leasecake Inc., a Winter Park, Fla.-based lease and location management operating system, secured $12 million in Series A financing. Lead investor PeakSpan Capital was joined by Las Olas Venture Capital, Branded Strategic Hospitality and others in the round.
InZiv, a Israeli startup offering high-resolution inspection and repair of microLED, QLED and OLED displays, nabbed $10 million in Series A1 funding. BlueRed Partners led the round, which saw participation from OurCrowd and others. Yishai Klein, managing partner and co-founder of BlueRed Partners; and Itzhak Edrei, president emeritus of Tower Semiconductor, will join the company’s board.
zenda, a fintech app for families serving the Middle East and North Africa region, was seeded with a $9.4 million investment from STV, COTU Ventures, Global Founders Capital and VentureSouq.
Vaunt Inc., a Miami-based platform for athletes and artists to monetize their talents and stream globally for live and digital viewers, raised $5 million in Series A funding from InfiniteWorld, Elysian Park Ventures, True Culture Fund and others.
GridMatrix, a San Francisco-based cloud platform for traffic analytics, collected a $3.5 million seed round co-led by 8VC and Cota Capital.
