Additional time is essential to plan for the COVID restrictions, bio-zone checks and ticketing. Team Manager Information Session - Monday 15 February, 7pm – ZoomThis information session will provide Team Managers with further clarity around the event bio-zones necessary to deliver State Championships in a COVID environment. It will cover off why they are in place, how they will function along with the responsibility of all in attendance to adopt the restrictions. Team Managers are invited to submit questions ahead of the information session. We will do our best to cover off as many questions as possible during the session. The questions form will close at 9am on Monday morning. Spectator TicketingIt is essential that the State Championships this year comply with the NSW Public Health Order, as such, each event bio-zone must remain under 3,000 total people. This includes competitors, officials, spectators, water safety, work party etc. In order to meet this requirement the following event bio-zones will be ticketed to all spectators:
SLSNSW will be allocating 1 ticket per competitor and a further 50% of the total number of competitors within the bio-zone e.g. 100 competitors, the club will receive 100 spectator tickets with a further 50 tickets allocated for coaches, team managers and however the club wishes to delegate within the event bio-zone ‘mixing’ regulation. Spectator tickets will be mailed to each club prior to the event for distribution. It is essential that all spectators wishing to enter the event presents a ticket for each day of competition for the bio-zone they wish to attend. No ticket = no entry, so please do not forget to bring your bio-zone event ticket each day. Team Manager Register: All clubs need to nominate a Team Manager for each bio-zone and each Championship event. Team COVID Marshal Register: Each club is required to nominate a Team COVID Marshal for each bio-zone and Championship event. A position description for this role will be available on the event page shortly. Cross Bio-Zone Register: For any official, age manager, coach or any other role that requires members to attend another bio-zone during the Championships, they must complete the below register prior to attending the event. NB: no person is permitted to cross any of the four Age Championships bio-zones across the 4 days, however when the events are a week apart, it is permitted when the cross bio-zone register is completed. Please ensure you regularly visit the State Championships event page on the SLSNSW website and familiarize yourself with the updated information.
