Principal's Message
Each year’s end always brings with it a tremendous sense of accomplishment. So many momentous things have been achieved at Westport Campus. As much as COVID-19 dictated our learning pathways to some extent, our students demonstrated much enthusiasm, great dedication and strength of character.
Congratulations and BRAVO to the Award recipients, along with all our wonderful students at Hastings Secondary College. We are so proud of each and every one of you following this roller coaster of a year.
Hastings Secondary College Mobile Phone Policy - Update
The College recently reviewed it's mobile devices policy. As a result of this review (which included feedback from students, staff and parents), we are implementing some changes to enhance student learning in the classroom and improve social interactions across the College.

2021 - First School Day - 8.15am to 2.15pm
Week 1 - Friday 29 January: Year 7, 11 and 12
Week 2 - Monday 01 February: Year 8, 9 and 10

Fittings and sales will take place at the Westport Campus Uniform Shop. Enter via the front gate on Findlay Avenue first building on your left.

Attenborough Week - Paper Plane Contest
Paper airplanes are a perfect STEM lesson. It's lots of fun and teaches students key scientific concepts like aerodynamics, velocity, trust and speed.
During Attenborough Week, students engaged in designing their own planes and testing them out.
