Super User Engagement Business Process and RA sessions.
Dear Super User
You will recall from the last super user session that there were a number of activities we wanted you to get involved in.
we are at a crucial phase of the Rose Project where we will be running User Acceptance Testing. You may also have heard this referred to as ‘BPV’ (Business Process Validation Testing). This is running sessions testing what has been put into the system so far. A very important stage in the project, you being involved in this work will help ensure that that the new processes, pathways, and configuration of the new system are validated and fit for purpose.
At the same time the team are also getting ready to start the face to face training. If you have not booked either BPV or Training please do so now.
The dates are available on the LMS - click here to access.

You need to ensure you have completed your online Lorenzo Foundation eLearning (LZ40 Lorenzo Foundation training). This is already available as part of your Lorenzo training course that you are enrolled for. This needs to be completed before attending your BPV session so you have a basic understanding of Lorenzo
we need you to book onto engagement sessions in April –the sessions will focus on Business processes and will take you through the necessary steps to becoming an Smartcard Agent. As an agent you will be able to support the Project in ensuring all staff have a working active Smartcard that can access the ROSE system. To do this you will be trained on how to –
- unlock cards where users have forgotten their pin numbers
- re-set pin numbers
- renewal of certificates
During these sessions you will be issued with user guides and
essential equipment to support you at go-live and beyond.
We only have 8 weeks left until the ROSE Project goes through another critical stage called Dress Rehearsal weekend – this in essence is a mock go-live and your support and commitment is needed. When the team will take us through what will happen at the go-live stage. This mock experience will ensure we are safe to proceed for our go-live deployment date and highlight any immediate steps we need to take.
Your participation is key to a successful go-live – to get involved contact the ROSE team at RoseEPR@northstaffs.nhs.uk.
Other than that we just require your NSCHT role expertise, and your knowledge of your department.
