Proton Therapy eNewsletter

Welcome to the September issue of the Proton Therapy eNewsletter!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in this issue we highlight how our Center contributes to the fight against childhood cancers. We also feature one of our weekly graduation ceremonies held last month that was particularly unique. Our Center was honored to have members of the Tlingit tribe of Alaska join us in celebration of a tribal member who was completing treatment.

In our patient section this month we introduce you to Horst Sakschewski. He is a retired electrician who was enjoying life in Paradise, California until he discovered that he had prostate cancer. Horst traveled to Seattle to receive proton therapy treatment. For our staff highlight this month we feature Mary Ann Manabat, an Intake Supervisor who has been with our Center since we opened.

Thank you for your support and continued interest in our Center and please forward this newsletter to others who may find it of interest.
