There's a hive of activity and excitement here this week with the Track Cycling Competition for the World Masters Games. This is the world’s largest multi-sport event with over 25,000 participants expected in NZ in just a few weeks. Starting June we'll be running a new race series, using a points system and covering both endurance and sprint events. This will be a 5 race series with each race night being 5-6 weeks apart and will be open to riders of all abilities as it will be graded. Something to look forward to - more info to come! The Avantidrome will be busy through this period, so for those coming out to enjoy the Gallagher Bike Skills Park, Perry Playground or The Bikery Café, we will be opening up the corner paddock by the main carpark for overflow parking.
