Hugh Mackay

Join us in the library for a live streamed talk with best-selling author Hugh Mackay. In his latest book Hugh reflects on the challenges we face after a year of upheaval and the question many of us are asking: What really matters to me?  With a worldwide pandemic taking a toll on our mental and emotional health, Hugh poses the question: ‘Could we become renowned as a loving country, rather than simply a “lucky” one?’

Staff recommendation

‘Tell Me Why’ is a profoundly moving story, narrated by Archie Roach. It is amazing listening to an author narrate their own story, you can hear the anguish and heartbreak in their voice, which adds a certain depth to the storytelling. Reserve your copy or download in our online Borrow Box Library.
