March has seen the beginning of a new technology being adopted across the physician community. MBMD (MicroBlogging MD) – the secure messaging app that supports communication with consultations by sharing data, instructions, photos, patient information and more - officially launched at RIH on March 15.

2018-2020 Strategic Plan

The 2018-2020 Strategic Plan has been finalized and includes input from members, partners, and staff. This plan continues to move forward work that was started and remains a priority of members. It also identifies new areas of focus as the landscape of primary care is changing.

New Specialists

There have been a number of specialists who are new to the community, including general internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology, and others. We are in the process of loading their profiles on Pathways to help you make accurate referrals.

Family Practice Development Fund Now Accepting Submissions

The Family Practice Development Fund provides one-time practice enhancement or start-up funding on a cost recovery or grant basis.

On-Demand Telephone Interpreting Services for Your Practice

We are participating in a provincial Primary Care Interpreting Services Pilot Project available for primary care providers. Please see the following information to access over 150+ languages in your practice as needed.

Community Services section on Pathways now live

The new and improved Community Services section is now live. It offers advanced search and filtering functions. You can search and filter by 'modality of services' (i.e. services provided by phone, online, in home, etc.).
