PSCAD – ETAP Interface for EMTP Analysis
|
Manitoba Hydro International, developers of the PSCAD® software is collaborating with ETAP on an interface. With this interface, engineering professionals can use ETAP for design and analysis and then exchange the system data into PSCAD for preforming ElectroMagnetic Transient analyses such as switching transients, insulation coordination, lightning surges, etc.
ETAP provides an intuitive interface with widely used EMTP software solutions for comprehensive and efficient simulation of all sizes of power systems.
The EMTP interface is expected to be commercially available with the release of ETAP 14.
