I thought the speakers were a good mix of science, philosophy and inspiring motivation and it was good to be able to experience it all with our colleagues, students and family of the College. A real feature for me was the acknowledgement of Dr Jim Stinear during 'Friday Night Live'. Jim, the inaugural President of the College, was a driving force in the start-up and initial years of the College and recognition of his efforts were long overdue. And don't forget to mark in your calendar now. The dates for next year's Lyceum is 14-16 September, 2018. For the first time, a graduation is at the end of the year for the class finishing up this year. Graduation is Wednesday 6 December starting at 1pm at the Town Hall in Auckland. Let’s all get there to support the next cohort of NZCC graduates as they start their journey to become the 'world’s best chiropractors'. Recruitment of great people to join the chiropractic family continues. I will be holding our first career evening in the USA next week in Seattle, Washington followed by a two-and-a-half-week tour of Canada. In November, Dr Heidi Haavik and I will be travelling to Norway to do more of the same. Please consider recommending chiropractic as a career to anyone who you think may be one of those great people. The referrals to the College by chiropractors generally produce the best students. Until next time, remember, we are greater together!
