GUIDELINES FOR NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR EXCELLENCE IN THE ARTS (NPEA)

Yesterday Minister Senator George Brandis released draft guidelines for the new National Programme for Excellence in the Arts (NPEA).

The Minister is asking for sector and community feedback on the guidelines by 31 July and the Chamber urges all its members and supporters to submit their feedback to the Ministry via email to: nationalexcellenceprogram@arts.gov.au

SENATE INQUIRY INTO 2014 & 2015 COMMONWEALTH BUDGET DECISIONS ON THE ARTS

On 16 June the Senate referred the issue of arts funding to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee which will examine the establishment of the NPEA and will make its report by 15 September.

Submissions for the Senate Inquiry are open until 17 July. It is vital that all members, stakeholders and supporters make a submission to the Inquiry - the more submissions received, the greater the impact.

We urge you to connect with your networks and encourage them to make a submission to the Inquiry.

Provide feedback on the draft guidelines for the NPEA

Arts Minister Senator George Brandis yesterday released the draft guidelines for the new National Programme for Excellence in the Arts (NPEA).

The sector and the broader community have until 5pm AEST 31 July to provide feedback on the new guidelines.
