Dear BC Students,

Autumn has arrived! I hope you are enjoying the slightly cooler weather and the semester is off to a good start. I'm enjoying getting acquainted with all this campus and this city has to offer, and hope you are too.

This is the first of a weekly email I will be sending to share events, opportunities, and programs that you can participate in, and highlight new initiatives on campus.

This Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, and I encourage you to be engaged and active citizens. If you have not already registered to vote, BC has a partnership with TurboVote, a free service that allows you to easily register, verify or update your voter registration, request an absentee ballot, and sign up for election reminders. There will be Voter Registration tabling across campus or you can stop by the 4th Floor of Maloney Hall to learn more.

Don't forget that I hold open office hours most Fridays from 3-5:00 p.m. If you would like to discuss something, please do not hesitate to drop in and say hello. You are also welcome to make an appointment with me by contacting my office. I love getting to know students and encourage you to come by.

Sincerely,

Dr. Shawna Cooper-Gibson

P.S.
I am delighted that we were recently able to take the Class of 2024 photo. If you are interested in downloading a copy of your own class photo, they are all available in this google folder.
