EMTC Open Day - THIS SUNDAY (28 Jan 2018): 11.00am - 1.00pm

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder about this Sunday’s Open Day. We are looking forward to another great event. Please come down and meet the people who support our Club and take time out of their busy schedules to be with us.  Bring your family and friends along too and welcome our potential new members.

There will be plenty of things to keep everyone occupied and I would also ask you to bring potential new members, if you know anyone interested. The reason we need our members to show up is twofold. Firstly to inspire potential new members, and secondly to hear from our visiting dignitaries and thank them, and our sponsors, for supporting EMTC.

Starting at 11:00am there will be on court activities including a speed gun, Hot Shots and free play, along with a free sausage sizzle, some cool drinks, and use of the pool. These will continue until 1.00pm.  (We know it is going to be a very warm day so the activites will be modified as required.)

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE..

Kind Regards,
Ralph

Sunday Social please note that due to the Open Day your regular courts may not be available until around 1.30pm.  We know you will be welcoming to our potential new members.

Working Bee - THANK YOU to our great group of helpers

I also wanted to take time to thank the attendees who came to our working bee on Sunday. It has always been an important part of running a Community Club, that its members get involved. I know we are all busy theses days, and unfortunately I was unable to assist. I did see the result of their efforts, however. Rohan was in charge of repairing the fences, which had become hazardous. Apart from Committee members, I would like to thank Jamie, Andy, Terry, Nick, Keith and the younger members who came with their parents. Jack Appleton, Tom Lidgerwood and Amelia Bolic are part of the future of East Malvern Tennis Club and great role models. As you can see, the result was excellent and saved the Club many thousands of dollars.  Once again, thanks from all of us.
